Writ Petitions (Civil & Revenue)
Service Overview
Service Overview
Writ Petitions (Civil & Revenue) are constitutional remedies filed before the High Court under Articles 226 and 227 to challenge arbitrary, illegal, or ultra vires actions of government bodies, revenue authorities, or public officials.
These petitions are commonly filed in matters relating to land records, revenue orders, mutation disputes, administrative decisions, property rights violations, and denial of statutory or fundamental rights. The High Court has the power to issue writs such as Mandamus, Certiorari, Prohibition, Quo Warranto, and Habeas Corpus (where applicable).
This service includes drafting writ petitions, filing stay applications, challenging revenue authority orders, seeking quashing of illegal actions, and representing clients before the High Court.
The objective is to ensure the lawful exercise of power by authorities, protect constitutional and statutory rights, and secure judicial intervention where ordinary remedies are inadequate or ineffective.
