Criminal Appeals & Revisions
Service Overview
Service Overview
Criminal Appeals & Revisions are legal remedies available against judgments, convictions, acquittals, or sentencing orders passed by criminal courts. An appeal enables a higher court to re-evaluate evidence, legal findings, and procedural compliance of the trial court’s decision.
A criminal revision, on the other hand, is filed to correct jurisdictional errors, legal irregularities, or procedural defects where no direct appeal is available. Appeals and revisions may be filed before Sessions Courts, High Courts, or the Supreme Court depending on the nature of the case.
This service includes drafting appeal memorandums, suspension of sentence applications, bail pending appeal, revision petitions, stay applications, and representation before appellate courts.
The objective is to safeguard legal rights, rectify judicial errors, and ensure fair administration of criminal justice through structured appellate mechanisms.
