Civil Appeals & Revisions
Service Overview
Service Overview
Civil Appeals & Revisions refer to legal remedies available against judgments, decrees, or orders passed by civil courts. An appeal allows a higher court to re-examine the facts, evidence, and legal conclusions of a lower court decision. A revision, on the other hand, is filed to correct jurisdictional errors, procedural irregularities, or material legal defects.
These proceedings are governed by the Code of Civil Procedure and other applicable statutes. Appeals may be filed before District Courts, High Courts, or the Supreme Court depending on the nature and hierarchy of the case. Revisions are generally invoked where no direct appeal is available but there exists a substantial legal error.
This service includes drafting appeal memorandums, revision petitions, stay applications, representation before appellate courts, and pursuing interim relief where required.
The objective is to safeguard legal rights, rectify judicial errors, and ensure proper administration of justice through structured appellate mechanisms.
